Lyudmila Bloch is an international etiquette expert, protocol consultant, etiquette author (The Golden Rules of Etiquette at The Plaza), speaker, and business etiquette coach in New York City, who speaks fluently four languages, has visited more than 30 countries all around the world, and lived on three continents.
After training as a linguist at The Moscow State Pedagogic University, Lyudmila moved with her husband to New York City, USA. She worked for major American corporations — Saks Fifth Avenue, The Plaza Hotel, and Taubman Shopping Centers — as a marketing executive, enjoying a broad range of marketing experience and ever-growing knowledge of cross-cultural communications.

She has conducted business-etiquette seminars for Fortune 500 companies and provided protocol-consulting services to the following companies — Novartis, The United Nations, Royal Bank of Scotland, Spanish Medical Society, Apple Primary Reseller, Bolshoi Ballet & Opera Foundation, the Butterfield Bank in Bermuda, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Bermuda Learning Solutions Ltd., and The Plaza Hotel in NYC.

In 2005 the dynamic duo joined forces with The New York City Department of Education and introduced business-etiquette training program “World-Class Business Etiquette” for principals and teachers in New York City public schools.
In 2008 at the annual New York State Conference for Educators in Albany, Ms. Bloch presented her new program for educators “Achieving Social and Emotional Growth through Character Development and Etiquette Instruction.”
Ms. Bloch is a graduate of the Protocol School of Washington.
In her many travels, across the globe, Lyudmila has especially enjoyed meeting with memorable personalities such as His Majesty King Hassan II of Morocco, former President of the U.S.S.R. Mr. Mikhail Gorbachev, world-famous dancer and choreographer, Rudolph Nureyev, and legendary Walter Cronkite.
She lives in Manhattan with her family and beloved dog, Mathilda, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
